Take Up Your Cross
As Christians, we are called to take up our cross and follow Jesus. While we may think of the cross as a positive symbol worth celebrating, in Jesus’s time this image symbolized shame and humiliation. Why then did Jesus’s followers choose to accept these terms and follow him? In this sermon, we will learn why taking up our cross is worth doing so.
