He makes pits into reservoirs

In John 4:3–29, Jesus meets a Samaritan woman at a well — a woman weighed down by shame, broken relationships, and spiritual emptiness. She comes to the well seeking water, but she encounters the Living Water who can satisfy the deepest thirst of her soul.

What the world saw as a pit of failure and disgrace, Jesus saw as a place to pour out His grace. Instead of condemning her, He gently exposes her wounds and offers her living water that becomes a spring welling up to eternal life. This woman’s life is transformed, and she becomes one of the first evangelists, running back to her town to tell everyone about the Messiah she has met.

This message shows how Jesus meets us in our lowest places and turns them into reservoirs of His grace and glory. He takes what is empty and fills it. He takes what is broken and redeems it for His purposes — inviting us to drink deeply of His living water and overflow to others.
