A Marriage Talk, p2

Continuing in Mark 10:1–12, Jesus deepens His teaching on marriage after His private conversation with the Pharisees. Once alone with His disciples, Jesus explains even more clearly that God’s intention for marriage has always been a lifelong covenant between a husband and wife. He affirms that what God has joined together should not be separated, and He frames marriage as a sacred union that reflects God’s faithfulness.

This teaching challenges the casual view of marriage that can creep into culture and even into the hearts of believers. It reminds us that marriage is not about convenience, personal fulfillment, or legal contracts, but about covenant love and commitment rooted in God’s design.

This message invites couples to see their marriages as part of God’s story — to honor their vows, rely on God’s grace in moments of difficulty, and embody Christlike love that endures.
