Jesus, Our Rich Young Ruler
Success, whether it be wealth, power, job, or status, has long been spread to be our life's goal. But the dangers of wealth and success are often not mentioned at the same time. The rich young ruler from the gospel of Mark has defined himself by his success and wealth and could not imagine a life without it. As we'll discuss in this teaching, success clouds our view and blocks us from recognizing our human need for a savior.
