Follow with me

In Mark 2:13–17, Jesus calls Levi (also known as Matthew), a despised tax collector, to follow Him. Levi leaves everything behind and immediately hosts a feast where Jesus dines with other tax collectors and sinners. This scene reveals the scandalous grace of Jesus — He does not call the righteous, but sinners.

This message reminds us that Jesus’ invitation is not based on worthiness but willingness. He enters messy lives, offers undeserved mercy, and calls us to walk with Him in newness of life. Following Jesus means leaving behind old identities and joining Him in welcoming others into His transforming grace.
