The Crux: Thirsty
In this message from John 19:28, we hear Jesus utter the simple yet profound words, “I am thirsty.” This statement reveals not only His physical suffering on the cross but also the depth of His humanity. The One who offered living water to the world allowed Himself to experience thirst, showing the lengths He was willing to go to identify with us in our weakness. Through His thirst, Jesus fulfilled prophecy and demonstrated His complete obedience to the Father. This moment invites us to find satisfaction and life in Him, the true source of living water.
