The Crux: Forsaken
In this message from Matthew 27:46, we hear Jesus cry out from the cross, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” In this moment, Jesus bore the weight of humanity’s sin and experienced the depth of separation from the Father so that we never would have to. This heart-wrenching cry reveals both the cost of our redemption and the extent of God’s love. As we reflect on His suffering, we are reminded that because Jesus was forsaken, we are forever accepted.
