What God wants from you

In Mark 6:7–13, Jesus sends out the twelve disciples on their first mission, giving them authority to preach, heal, and drive out evil spirits. He instructs them to go simply — without extra supplies or money — relying completely on God’s provision and the hospitality of others.

This passage reveals that God is not looking for polished perfection, vast resources, or impressive résumés. What He wants is our obedience, trust, and willingness to be sent. The disciples’ effectiveness didn’t depend on their status or strategy but on their surrender to Jesus’ authority and their reliance on His power.

This message calls us to lay aside excuses and fears, embracing a life of mission rooted in faith. God delights to work through ordinary people who offer themselves fully to Him.
