Jesus & the Walking Dead

In Mark 1:40–45, a man with Leprosy approaches Jesus in desperation — sick, isolated, and considered untouchable by society. Instead of recoiling, Jesus is moved with compassion, reaches out His hand, and touches him. In that moment, the unclean becomes clean, and the outcast is restored.

This passage reveals the heart of Jesus: He is not repulsed by our brokenness but willing to enter it, bringing cleansing and new life. Where others see hopelessness, Jesus sees someone worth touching.

This message reminds us that no one is too far gone for His grace. Jesus has the power to cleanse what is defiled, restore what is broken, and make the spiritually dead come alive again.
