He does all things well

In Mark 7:31–37, Jesus travels through the region of the Decapolis, where people bring Him a man who is deaf and has a speech impediment. Jesus takes the man aside from the crowd, touches his ears and tongue, looks up to heaven, and says, “Be opened.” Immediately, the man’s ears are opened, his tongue is released, and he begins to speak plainly.

The crowd is astonished and declares, “He has done all things well.” This powerful moment shows the compassion and personal care of Jesus — He is not distant or mechanical in His miracles, but intimately present, meeting each person in their specific need.

This message reminds us that Jesus still does all things well. He meets us personally in our brokenness, restores what is damaged, and renews what we thought was beyond repair. His power and compassion are perfect, and His work in our lives is always good.
