Cary or Bury

In Mark 2:1–12, four friends carry a paralyzed man to Jesus, tearing through a crowded roof just to place him at the Savior’s feet. Rather than starting with physical healing, Jesus forgives the man’s sins — revealing that our deepest need is spiritual, not merely physical.

This encounter shows the power of faith-filled community and the authority of Jesus to do what only God can do: forgive sins and raise the broken. When we carry the hurting to Jesus, He does far more than we expect — He brings wholeness to the soul and restoration to the body.

This message challenges us to become friends who carry rather than bury — who bring others to Jesus instead of leaving them where they are.
