Forgiven

In this opening message from Philemon Week 1, we are reminded that forgiveness is both a perfect solution and a costly one. The letter to Philemon gives us a powerful glimpse of the gospel—how grace cancels our debt while calling us to extend that same grace to others. Through Paul’s heartfelt appeal, we see that forgiveness is never cheap; it cost Jesus everything to secure our pardon. As we embrace the truth that we are fully forgiven, we are also challenged to live as people who freely forgive, reflecting the love and mercy we have received in Christ.
