“ The Great Commission and the Great Companion”  | Matthew 28:16-20

Recap

This week we are reminded that everyone is being formed by someone, and Jesus calls His imperfect, sometimes-doubting disciples to intentionally make disciples under His full authority and abiding presence. The Great Commission is great not because of our strength, but because of our risen King who reigns over all, sends us to all nations, teaches us all His ways, and promises to be with us all our days. Discipleship is not merely information transfer but a lifelong process of following Jesus—learning His words, embodying His ways, and living out His mission in everyday life. We are sent as ordinary people to participate in God’s extraordinary work, trusting that Jesus is with us always as He forms us and others into true life.
