Unity in Christ
This week, we continue our series titled, "In Christ", a study through the book of Ephesians. As Paul writes to the church of Ephesus, he reminds them who they were before Jesus, an alienated community of Jews and gentiles. In Christ, a divided people becomes one. He proclaims peace for all, as we are no longer strangers but fellow citizens of His Kingdom. Beyond merely fellow citizens, there is love and belonging as we are also united in His family.

“Unity in Christ” | Ephesians 2:11-22
Recap
This week in Ephesians 2:11–22, we are reminded to look back and remember who we once were, what Christ has done, and what we have now become in Him. We once were alienated—without Christ, without hope, and without God in the world—divided by hostility and lost in sin. But now, through the blood of Jesus, we who were far off have been brought near. Christ Himself is our peace, tearing down the dividing wall of hostility and reconciling us to God and to one another, creating one new humanity in Him. Because of His work, we are no longer strangers and foreigners but fellow citizens of God’s kingdom, members of His family, and living stones in His temple. As the church, we embody His presence in a divided world, proclaiming the gospel of peace and showing His love, unity, and hope to all who are searching.
