The Kings Coronation

In a bitter irony, Jesus is crowned not with gold but with thorns, and enthroned not on a seat of glory but on a cross. The soldiers mock Him with royal robes, a scepter, and sarcastic praise. The crowds jeer, the rulers sneer, and even the criminals beside Him hurl insults. Yet in this humiliation, God is unveiling His true King—One who conquers not by crushing His enemies, but by bearing their sin. Every taunt and nail becomes part of His coronation procession as He wears the curse to win His crown. What looks like defeat is actually the enthronement of the crucified King, who reigns from the cross in love.
