Deity & Humanity, with Authority

In Mark 1:1–34, Jesus steps onto the public stage revealing both His full divinity and full humanity. He teaches with authority, commands unclean spirits, heals the sick, and yet withdraws to pray — embodying perfect dependence on the Father even as He demonstrates the power of God.

This message explores how Jesus is not half-God and half-man but fully God and fully man — and how that reality shapes our faith. His divine authority gives us confidence in His power, and His true humanity gives us comfort that He understands our weakness. We are called to trust Him as the God who reigns and the Savior who relates.
